"Who’s to say there’s one way? And where does that belief come from — that there’s one way to achieve something? What works for you doesn’t work for me. What works for him doesn’t work for you. So why are we to believe that there is one way?’".

"It’s a lifelong journey of discovering self as love. We can intellectualise it and get it on a level, but to really embody it is a journey we take until our last breath. And I'm a big believer in that—in that we can do a large degree of healing to rid ourselves of codependent patterns".

"Even through your misinterpretations and judgments, if you're seeking truth, that is part of the quest. And part of the journey, I think, is to come up and see everything that is standing in your way — all of the judgments and the thoughts and the beliefs that you have".

"If you have overcome an addiction, you have done some of the deepest spiritual work than anyone else on this planet. I believe addiction is deeply spiritual work. To be in your authenticity, to be in your ownership, to be who you are — that is being rooted in the spirit".

"‘Until you get a hold of your words, you cannot get a hold of your life. And that's exactly what I have found is that by being able to have language and tools and strategies for any situation, I have been able to tap back into the life within myself. And that's been very, very empowering for me".
