"I feel like alcohol can block you from your gifts. So I believe that’s why it’s called “spirits” because I also think, what’s happening is it’s opening you up to, it’s basically cancelling out your field. So it’s almost like opening you in a way to everything and anything. You almost become... Things can take over you. I feel like other people’s energy can enter you".

"‘‘I had this addictive mentality to people pleasing and to being very disconnected with myself because I was scared to love myself. And with that being said, I did find a connection in alcohol; it was a community. I mean, society’s like, go out, party, make friends, drink, drink, drink, you know, and I fell into that".

"It was so easy for me to just be a victim, and that’s what I wanted to be. The second I shifted out of the victim mentality to wanting to be proactive and be the creator of my life, that’s when it changed. And that’s why I think with practice, you will notice what you gravitate to. And everything you truly need, you're being told by your body by your mind".

"It’s just finding your truth and seeking it out, and setting that truth on fire, and just trusting that the trees have to burn sometimes for the new land to be revealed. And just trust that the people will always come, and at the end of the day, when you’re so connected to yourself and love yourself, you don’t give a shit if anybody likes you".

About the Guest

Brittany Lee worked in the music industry for most of her life. At the age of 16, she started a music journalism site and then went on her first tour at the age of 17. She knew she had the passion for working for the music industry and living the rock and roll lifestyle.

During her years in the music industry, she started getting into reiki, tarot card reading and spiritual wisdom. This allowed her to understand how the rock and roll lifestyle and the people surrounding her affected her behaviour and habits. She then dug deeper into transforming her life and changing her environment with the help of healing arts and spirituality.

Brittany shares her passion for spiritual wellness through her podcast Think Outside. She also does one-on-one coaching to help people centre and learn more about themselves.

You may reach her through her email. You can also find her on Facebook or Instagram.
